Designer Nicolas Ghesquière is the mastermind behind the popular worn shoe that looks like the kind of sneaker that would help some comic book hero run faster and jump higher.The designer sent these puppies down the spring 2018 runway alongside his sporty ready-to-wear and now they’re finally available.
The Archlight is designed and sized as a women's sneakers( the size run on these stops at an EU size 42, or U.S. men's 9).The chunky sneaker trend may have begun in 2017 with Balenciaga’s Triple S shape and Louis Vuitton’s Archlight style, but the shoe silhouette really came into its own in 2018.

According to Louis Vuitton: “Inspired both by the vintage ’90s basketball look and futuristic trends. the Archlight uses a mix of technical fabrics, an oversize springy rubber sole and a prominent tongue. The different color versions were imagined to fit different styles and times and the overall design captures Nicolas Ghesquière’s love for sci-fi, such as Stranger Things or Star Wars.”
The white color seems to be more of a trend.
