The Louis Vuitton Petite Boite Chapeau Bag pop up on the Cruise 2018 runway (and then again on the Spring 2018 runway, and then even more times at the brand’s parties),
Here's an observation of the bag;
• the monogram alignment matches up to the auth
• the stitching color looks the same and is neat
• the LV logo on the tag is perfectly centered
• the vachetta looks just like the auth
• the glazing is a little red but I’ve seen some pics on the auth with red glazing as well
• the tag and handle look perfect
This bag is sturdy and the canvas feels "normal." I haven't handled this bag in person but the canvas feels like my other rep LVs and I know the LV fabric seems to be in abundance, so I trust it feels exactly how it's supposed to. However, there seems to be very subtle "rippling" on one side of the front of the bag, assuming the lighter side is the front.
The straps are a little bit flimsy because they are easily bent and the way they were rolled up for who knows how long did them no favors at all. In the auth pictures, the straps seem less malleable, like they would round perfectly into a handle, while these seem a bit thinner and more prone to manipulation.
There's a tiny scratch on the hardware of the clasp where you open/close the bag, but it's hard to see in photos. Hardware is super glam and shiny. I'd be careful with this bag not to scratch it because the shininess seems almost coated on, but the hardware itself still seems like a sturdy metal. Stitching is a bit messy in some areas depending on how you look at it. This is a sturdy, hard box bag. Interior is truly beautiful.
Accuracy:: 8/10 I'm trying so hard not to let the price manipulate how I feel about this bag overall, but I am so, so pleased. I cannot tell if the canvas pattern is accurate but it does seem a little bit faded to me. But not really. Just something I thought but can't actually confirm.

The stamping on the black back side of the bag is nonsense with the L in Louis and N at the end of Vuitton and it should just say PARIS according to one of the auth links. Easy callout. I'm glad it's on the back. The V doesn't sit on the L properly on the gold hardware of the luggage tag on the front, so spacing is a bit off. Where the top of the handle is, the head of the strap is a little too round, could be crisper and more geometric.
It's possible the interior should be tan, in the rep it's off-white. Can't confirm that for sure. Otherwise, hardware seems to be correct shape all over, and in approximate or accurate positions. I don't see anything glaring beyond the logo stamping. The colors seem very accurate.
Overall, wow, I feel like this bag is an excellent value.So I don't feel like anyone could stare at this bag and call it out unless they took a look at the stamping on the back, which is really unfortunate because anyone could spot it if they looked long enough just because the lettering is so whack.

Overall, this bag is huge. If you have the Gucci marmount bag belt, this is almost twice as big. I would take it to a cobbler to get it tighter as well because it's impossible to wear around my waist.
